Material
The four 1.25" Fusion arch strips are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel cut in the USA, held over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime with no damage to the Ford.
Fusion rocker kits
TH53390 is an eight-piece lower kit at 2.306-3.644", spanning from the bottom of the door up. TH53391 is a two-piece On the rocker strip at 1.25", the same width as this wheel well set, that installs below the door. Fit either before the arches.
Window and body parts
Six pillar sets are listed. PP53390 (4) and PP53392 (12) include the keyless entry touch pad; PP53393 (4) and PP53395 (12) do not include it; PP53391 and PP53394, six pieces each, are noted "Sheer three sides". Preparing a wide band
At 1.25", each piece covers a lot of paint, and all of it has to be sound. Wash each opening and a good margin around it. Dry it and let it drain. With a lamp held flat to the panel, look across the whole band for wax haze, adhesive residue and chips, and deal with each. Wax-and-grease remover across the full width. Isopropyl alcohol right before fitting.
Fitting
Start at a front corner. Offer the piece up still backed and use painter's tape at both ends. Step back to judge the curve, then look closely at the gasket against the opening. A wide piece needs firm, even pressure, so use the flat of your hand rather than a fingertip: peel a hand-width of liner at the front end, press, and continue over the arch. Fit the other front corner, compare, then the rears.
Arrival and care
When the box arrives, count four pieces and look over every gasket edge. Give the trim a day after fitting, then wash with mild soap and a soft cloth, keeping a pressure washer off the gasket. A quick call can settle any doubt.
When the parcel arrives, lay the four 1.25" pieces out by corner from the photos and keep each liner on until its piece has been dry-fitted. Check your door pillars for a keyless touch pad before ordering any pillar set.
