Getting organised

Prep on the wagon
Look over the frame tops, pillars and sills for old adhesive, wax or flaking paint and remove it. Wash the Magnum and let it dry. As you come to each strip, wipe it with a wax-and-grease remover and then isopropyl alcohol, just before its piece goes on.
Door by door
Work through one door completely before starting the next: the upper piece first, then its pillar pieces against it, then the sill below the glass. Hold every piece in position with the liner still on, put painter's tape at its ends, and close the door gently to check clearance. Peel back an inch of liner, press that end down on its mark, and keep peeling and pressing to the far end. When the door is done, step back and check that all three groups line up.
