Cleaning the faces
Do this with the windows closed and the car out of direct sun. Use a soft cloth with diluted car shampoo, then a clean damp cloth, then a dry towel, keeping water from running down past the seal. Look along each face under a light for wax, old adhesive or polishing residue. Lift adhesive with a plastic scraper, treat films with wax-and-grease remover, and wipe each face with isopropyl alcohol just before its piece goes on.
Fitting the four
Match each piece to its door from the photos and note it on the liner. Starting at a rear door, tape the piece against the face with its liner on and check both ends. Peel back a short length at one end, press it home, then work the rest of the liner out while pressing along the piece. Do the other rear next, then both fronts.
Leave the C-HR unwashed for a day after fitting. From then on, mild soap and water with a soft cloth.
