Product Description
Chevrolet Colorado 2015-2020 Chrome ABS Grille Overlay, 5-Piece, LT (SGC55150)
SGC55150 is a five-piece chrome plated ABS plastic grille overlay for the Chevrolet Colorado pickup, 2015 through 2020. Its fitment line reads "4-door, Pickup Truck, Long Bed, LT, LW only," and part of that line needs clarifying before you order. This five-piece overlay is chrome ABS plastic, and its fitment row is narrow: the 2015-2020 Colorado 4-door pickup with the long bed, in the LT and LW trims only.
Reading the fitment line
"LT" is a Colorado trim. "LW" isn't explained anywhere in the record, so call 877-752-3811 to ask what it refers to. "Long Bed" also appears. Because the line doesn't make clear whether the overlay depends on bed length, trim, or both, compare the photos with your truck and call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811 before buying.
Years
2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 Chevrolet Colorado, 4-door. Six years is a long span; tell us your year when you call.
Material
Chrome plated ABS plastic, imported, per the listing's "High Quality Chrome Plated ABS Plastic - Imported." Not stainless, and no tape or made-in-USA claim applies.
Five pieces
The kit has five parts. The data doesn't describe their layout. The photos show where each one goes.
Mounting
One bullet says "Insert," and another says "Easy installation! Cut to perfection & Polished to a Mirror Shine." Neither explains the attachment method. Ask us before ordering.
The linked tailgate accent
RT55150, a one-piece tailgate accent trim w4, is linked to this listing for 4-door Colorado pickups. It doesn't carry the LT or Long Bed note. Check that listing for its own material and finish; it may not match plated plastic.
Organizing
Five pieces can be confusing. Lay them out against the photos, label them with painter's tape, and decide the order before you begin.
Prep the grille
Wash, rinse and dry it. Clean out the openings, and wipe away any wax or protectant where the pieces will sit.
Trial fit
Hold each piece in position before fixing anything. Work outward from the center and keep checking the gaps from the front of the truck.
Plating care
Gentle washing keeps it bright. Avoid compound, polish and abrasive pads, which can wear through plating.
Checking your bed and trim
Your paperwork lists trim and bed length. Have both ready, along with the year, when you call so we can settle the fitment question quickly.
Plastic or steel?
If you'd prefer stainless steel at the front of your Colorado, ask what else QAA lists for it.
Why the fitment question matters
Bed length isn't something you'd expect to affect a grille part, which is exactly why the "Long Bed" and "LW" wording deserves a second look. It may simply be carried over from another field, or it may reflect a real limit in what QAA has tested. Either way, the safest course is to confirm with us rather than assume. A two-minute call with your year, trim, cab and bed length gives you a clear answer before you order.
