Toyota Prius 2004-2009 Hatchback Stainless Gas Door Cover (GC24135)
For the Toyota Prius 4-door hatchback from 2004 to 2009, GC24135 is a single polished stainless overlay for the fuel door. It's 304 stainless steel, 26 gauge, made in the USA, and mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape.
Warning
GC24135 is not a replacement cap and not a replacement part. You MUST have the existing gas door to install this piece. It's decorative, and it goes on top of the door your Prius already has.

Two window packages, clearly labeled
This Prius has two window trim packages with notes that make the choice easy:
- WP24135: 14 pieces, the FULL package: upper trim, pillar posts and window sills.
- WP24136: four pieces, upper trim only, with no pillar posts and no window sills.

Lower and rear
TH24135 is a two-piece rocker trim that installs below the door, on the rocker, with a trim crease, 1.25 inches. RD24135 is a one-piece accent listed as a rear deck accent for the back, and LP24135 a license plate bezel.
Attachment
The 2004-2009 Prius trim goes over the existing fuel door, and nothing is drilled. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime and cause no damage to the vehicle's surface.
Look before you stick
The fuel door's paint is what the tape actually grabs. On a Prius from these years, check that paint closely for chips, sun-fade or lifting clear coat, and repair it first if needed. Confirm the door latches and sits level with the body as well.
Getting it on
Soap, water, rinse; then a degreaser wipe to remove old wax. Let the surface dry. Shut the door, hold the trim against it with the liner still attached, and adjust until the paint showing around it is the same width everywhere. Mark that spot on the body with painter's tape. Peel the liner and press the trim down firmly across its whole surface, center first. Press again after a minute. Open the door gently to confirm it clears. The Installation tab has full steps.

About the material
Polished 304 stainless gives a bright, mirror-like finish. Gauge is a thickness number, and 26 gauge is a thin sheet, so the overlay keeps a low profile on a door that has to open and close against the body.

- Unpack the piece and hold it in position to confirm the fit before mounting it.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Step back and check alignment before pressing along the full length of the piece.
