Toyota Prius Hatchback 2010-2015 Stainless Gas Door Cover Trim (GC10135)
GC10135 puts a polished stainless face on the fuel door of the Toyota Prius 4-door hatchback, model years 2010 through 2015. It's one piece of 304 stainless steel at 26 gauge, made in the USA.
Important: it's an overlay, not a cap
The catalog carries a clear warning, and we'll repeat it plainly: this is not a replacement cap, and it's not a replacement part. You must have the existing gas door on your Prius to install this piece. It sticks onto the outside of the door you already have, which stays in place and keeps opening and closing as usual.

Material
Polished 304 stainless, 26 gauge. The shine comes from polishing the steel, not plating it.
Prep
Clean the outer face of the fuel door with soapy water, rinse, and wipe it with degreaser to remove wax. Check the paint for chips or peeling. Let it dry fully.
Install
Close the door. Hold the trim on it with the liner still on and check that the edges sit evenly inside the door's outline. Put a couple of painter's tape marks on the body beside it. Peel, line up, and press firmly over the entire face; press again after a minute. Open and close the door slowly to confirm it clears. The Installation tab has full prep.

Check the door first
Since the trim sits on your existing fuel door, that door should close fully and sit flush with the body. Open and close it a few times before you start. If it sticks or sits proud, sort that out first. Look closely at the paint on its face as well; the tape holds onto the paint, so it needs to be firmly attached.
