Product Description
SGR#2 Stainless Steel Number Two Decal, Universal Fit, Approx. 3.25" x 2.25"
SGR#2 is QAA's polished stainless number two, a one-piece universal decal for any vehicle. It shares its approximate size, 3.25" by 2.25", with the other digit emblems, so you can mix them to show a number of your choosing on a trunk lid, tailgate, toolbox or other smooth surface.
The basics
One piece. Made in the USA. High-quality polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel. 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, which QAA states will hold for a lifetime without damage to the surface. Installs directly over the existing surface.
Ordering more than one
Each listing is a single digit. A number like twenty-two needs two of SGR#2; plan your full figure, count each digit, and order the right quantity of each listing.
Digits that link here
SGR#0, the number one, SGR#3 and SGR#4 are linked. QAA's five-through-nine number emblems are separate listings without a link to this one; search for them by name if your number uses them.
A quirk on a linked listing
SGR11001, the two-piece Trucker Girl emblem, has a second note reading Number "2," which doesn't fit its title. It's a catalog mix-up; the Trucker Girl listing is not this number two. If you're unsure what a listing contains, call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811.
Size in practice
The size is approximate, and which side is the height isn't stated. Tape a paper template of 3.25" by 2.25" where you'd like the digit and look at it from across the driveway before committing.
Pick the right surface
Flat, smooth paint is ideal. Steer clear of body seams, textured trim and tight curves where a rigid steel digit can't sit flat.
Getting it straight
The curve of a two makes it easy to tilt by eye. Use a strip of painter's tape as a baseline and rest the bottom of the digit on it. Check from straight behind the vehicle.
Surface prep
Wash, dry and wipe with isopropyl alcohol. Let it flash off fully before peeling the liner.
Application
Peel the liner, touch one edge down on your mark, lower the rest, and press firmly over the whole face. Avoid washing for a day.
Cold-weather note
Below about room temperature, tape grabs poorly. Warm the panel first if you can.
Other emblems in the group
The linked two-piece emblems include SGR11002 Texas, SGR11005 Ichthys Fish, SGR11006 Peace and SGR11010 ELK or Moose, plus SGR45370's "500 Limited" decal. Check each listing for its own size and contents.
Looking after polished steel
Mild soap and a soft cloth. Dry it to avoid water spots, and use a non-abrasive metal polish if it hazes.
Ideas for a single digit
A lone two can mark a class number. Combined with other digits it can show a club number or a figure that matters to you. Whatever you choose, plan the whole figure on paper first so you order each digit in the right quantity.
Why a metal number
Stainless steel doesn't fade the way printed decals can. Polished 304 stays bright with ordinary washing and reads cleanly from across a parking lot.

Installation tips: Number "2"
- Unpack the piece and hold it in position to confirm the fit before mounting it.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Step back and check alignment before pressing along the full length of the piece.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
