Product Description
Chevrolet Equinox 2018-2024 Pillar Trim, 4 Polished Stainless Pieces (PP58160)
PP58160 brings polished stainless steel to the window pillars of the Chevrolet Equinox. It is a four-piece kit for the 4-door Equinox SUV, listed for model years 2018 through 2024, and it is the smaller of the two Equinox pillar kits QAA catalogs.
Four pieces, or the six-piece PP58161?
QAA lists this four-piece kit and a six-piece kit for the same Equinox. Neither has a coverage note, so the catalog does not say which pillar each piece fits or what the two further pieces cover. The product photos make the comparison easy. Four pieces is the lighter accent; six puts more steel along the glass.
Why owners choose pillar trim
On the Equinox, pillars frame each side window and are clearly visible from the side, which makes them an easy place for a bright accent. Polished covers turn those pillars into bright accents and give the vehicle a more personal, upscale look without any permanent change.
Since each Equinox kit is a full set by itself, think about how much brightness you want before you buy. The four-piece kit leaves more of the existing look intact.
Material
QAA makes these pieces in the USA from 26-gauge 304 stainless steel, polished to a mirror shine. The finish is solid metal, so there is no plating to peel.
Install
The four Equinox pieces go directly over the existing pillar surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, and the factory parts stay in place. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime and won't mark the Chevrolet.
Clean and dry each pillar, then wipe away wax so the tape meets bare paint. Test-fit the piece, peel the liner, and press firmly from end to end. With four pieces, the job fits in one short session. Full steps are on the Installation tab.
Build a matching set
QAA catalogs a long list of other trim for this Equinox, so it is easy to coordinate. There is a rear window trim set, an upper rocker panel kit, a license bar accent, a gas door cover, a window sill trim set for the face of the sills, a rear deck accent, a license plate bezel, a rear bumper accent, and two wheel well trim kits. Each is sold separately, and all are made for the same 4-door SUV.
Fitment
Listed for the Chevrolet Equinox 4-door SUV, 2018 through 2024. The Fitment tab shows the exact entry. Please confirm your model year before ordering.
Specs and support
Part number PP58160 carries UPC 691821442034. The Specs tab shows the material, gauge, and piece count. For help with fitment or coverage, call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811.
A final tip: choose a mild, dry day and a shaded spot to install. The tape bonds best to a panel at a comfortable temperature, and a soft cloth afterward will clear any fingerprints left on the polished steel. From there the trim washes up with the rest of the vehicle.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
