Product Description
Chevrolet Equinox 2018-2024 Window Sill Face Trim, 0.5" – WS58160, Four Pieces
WS58160 is a set of four polished stainless steel strips for the window sills of the Chevrolet Equinox 4-door SUV, model years 2018 through 2024. The record gives a 0.5" width and the note "Face of sills only".
The face of the sill
According to the note, these strips cover the sill face and nothing more. The record doesn't describe the face in detail, so the product photos are the guide to which surface they go on. Look at your Equinox's sills next to the photos before buying, and measure the face: a reading near 0.5" agrees with the record. If it doesn't, phone 877-752-3811 and quote SKU WS58160.
Years covered
One listing spans 2018 to 2024 on the 4-door SUV. Check the model year on your registration falls inside it.
Stainless and tape
The strips are 26 gauge 304 stainless steel, made in the USA and polished. They are fitted over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA states the tape holds for a lifetime and won't damage the Equinox.
Pillar posts and more
Two pillar post sets are linked: PP58160 with four pieces and PP58161 with six. No window package is on the record, so posts are a separate order. Other Equinox listings:
- TH58160: eight-piece rocker upper kit, 1" wide, spanning from the bottom of the cladding up.
- WQ58160 and WQ58161: two four-piece wheel well accent sets, both 0.875" wide; the record doesn't say how they differ.
- RW58160: a pair of trim pieces for the rear window.
- RD58160 (rear deck, 2"), RB58160 (rear bumper accent), LB58160 (two-piece license bar), LP58160 (plate bezel), GC58160 (gas door cover).
For the two wheel well sets, compare their photos or ask QAA before choosing.
Sorting the four
The record doesn't say which strip goes where. Use the photos and pencil a position on each liner.
Cleaning the faces
Close every window. Wash each sill face with mild soapy water on a soft cloth, wipe with clean water and let it dry. Run a finger along it; any slick film comes off with wax-and-grease remover, and old adhesive with a plastic scraper. Isopropyl alcohol goes on just before each strip.
Fitting the strips
A half-inch strip needs careful lining up. Hold it in place with the liner still attached and sight along it against the photos. Peel from one end, press that end, and work along to the other. Press again along the full length.
On fitting day
Pick a dry spell and shade. After the fourth strip, walk round and look at each from a step back; press down any end that lifts. The first wash should wait a day.
If a strip won't settle after firm pressure, don't use glue; call QAA. Pillar posts, rocker kit and wheel well trim are separate jobs for another day.
The rear window trim, deck trim and plate pieces can go on before or after the sills; none of them depends on the others. Keep the four strips flat in their marked order on a towel while you work.

Installation tips: Window Sill Trim Set
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
