Finally, degrease with rubbing alcohol on clean lint-free cloth until it comes away spotless, and run a finger down each post for dents. Keep low-tack painter's tape and a pencil to hand for the next stage, along with a clean towel to lay the covers on.
Fitting. Choose shade, dry weather and a calm day. Compare the six with their photos and report any damage before starting. Dry-fit each cover with the liner on, settle it until the gap around it is even and mask its outline with tape, numbering the masks. Then one by one, peel the liner, set the cover into its mask and press it down firmly along both edges and the full length. Lift the masks when you're done and look the set over from a few steps back.
If one misbehaves, leave its liner on and call 877-752-3811 instead of forcing it. Once cured, wash the six with car soap and water and dry them with a soft towel.
