Construction
The two 1.25" CTS strips are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel cut in the USA, set over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA says the tape will hold for a lifetime and won't mark the Cadillac.

Run painter's tape along the rocker where the top edge belongs and check it from the nose and the tail of the car. A narrow strip shows any bend.
Clean low
Brush and wash the rocker, rinse, dry, and wipe with isopropyl alcohol.
Two-person install
One person pins the far end to the reference while the other peels and presses from the near end. Open the doors before the last firm pass.
Even sides
Measure from the front wheel opening to each strip's end and match them.
