Cleaning the sills
Close every window. Because the bend means the piece touches two faces, clean both surfaces it will cover. Wash with a soft cloth and shampoo, wipe off with a damp cloth and dry. Under a lamp, check both faces for wax, residue and old glue; clear glue with a plastic scraper. Wax-and-grease remover, then isopropyl alcohol just before fitting.
Fitting bent pieces
Hold each piece on its sill with its liner on and confirm the bend seats against the edge as in the photos. Peel at one end, press both faces down together, and work along in short sections. Press firmly once more along the bend.
Arrival and care
Count four pieces and check the bends on arrival. After fitting, a day before washing; then mild soap and a soft cloth.
On the day
Lay the four Sienna pieces beside the photos and note which way each bend faces. Have painter's tape, a plastic scraper, a lamp, both cleaners and clean microfibres ready. Keep each liner on until its piece has been held in place and the bend checked against the sill edge.
