Product Description
Saturn Vue 2003-2007 Stainless Wheel Well Accent Trim WQ43440, 6 Pieces, No Gasket Edging
WQ43440 is a six-piece polished stainless steel Wheel Well Accent Trim for the 2003-2007 Saturn Vue 4-door SUV. The listing reads "With 3M adhesive installation NO black rubber gasket edging". No width is listed.
Bare stainless edges
This set has no black rubber gasket edging, so the stainless edges show bare. The photos show the finished look.
Fitment
Saturn Vue SUV, 2003-2007. That's the only line. If your Vue's arches look different from the photos, call 877-752-3811 before you order.
Six pieces
The record doesn't list how the six pieces divide across the four openings, so don't assume any pattern. Match each to the photos and write its position on the liner before any prep. Any piece you can't place is a reason to call 877-752-3811.
Material
The Vue's six arch pieces are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel made in the USA, fastened over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape and no rubber gasket. QAA says the tape will hold for a lifetime without damage.
Vue group
Lower-body parts: TH43441, a four-piece Full Kit at "5.5 - 6.5" tapered Width, On the Doors only", spanning from the bottom of the molding to the bottom of the door; TH43442, a four-piece insert kit at 1.75", "Side Molding"; and ST43440, four door sill - rocker trims at 1.625". Pillar sets run PP43440 (4), PP43441 (6), PP43443 (8) and PP43442 (10). A gas door cover, a license plate bezel, a rear deck accent and an eight-piece "VUE" logo decal set are also listed. Fit any rocker parts before the arches.
Preparing the SUV
Without a rubber edge, the stainless sits directly on the paint along its full width, so the paint must be faultless. Wash each opening, rinse, dry and let the lips drain. Check the trim band under a light for chips, old adhesive and wax; remove or repair them. Then wax-and-grease remover, followed by isopropyl alcohol immediately before each piece.
Fitting six pieces
Work one opening at a time. Hold up the pieces the photos place on it, liners on, with painter's tape at the outer ends, and check that each runs at an even distance from the edge of the opening. Where two meet, check the join. Bond the first toward the join, peeling in short lengths and pressing as you go, then the next away from it. Press each piece firmly end to end.
Arrival and care
When the Vue kit arrives, count the six pieces. Wait a day after fitting to wash, then use mild soap and a soft cloth and keep pressure-washer spray away from the edges. Call 877-752-3811.
Before ordering
Confirm the Vue is a 2003-2007 model and decide whether you want bare stainless edges, since this set has no gasket. If you are also fitting TH43441 or TH43442, put them on before the arches.
Lay all six pieces out by position on a clean towel before any cleaning starts, with their liners on.

Installation tips: Wheel Well Accent Trim
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
