Product Description
Cadillac CTS 2014-2019 Sedan Stainless Window Trim Package WP54250, Upper Trim & Pillar Posts, 10 Pieces
WP54250 is a ten-piece polished stainless steel Window Trim Package for the 2014-2019 Cadillac CTS 4-door sedan. The note reads "Includes Upper Trim and Pillar Posts, NO Window Sills".
Standard or long pillars
The pillar sets linked for this CTS come in two styles. PP54250 (4 pieces) and PP54251 (6) carry no further note, while PP54444 (4) and PP54445 (6) are marked "LONG VERSION". This package's note doesn't mention long or extended pillars, and the record doesn't say which pillar style its pillar pieces match. Before ordering, compare this package's photos with the pillars on your car. If the centre pillars on your sedan look longer than the ones pictured, call 877-752-3811 first.
What's in the box
Ten pieces covering the upper trim and the pillar posts; the split isn't given, so the photos show which is which. The sills aren't included, and no sill set is linked for this sedan. Since pillar trim is already part of the package, you won't need a separate pillar set with it.
Material and attachment
The ten 2014-2019 CTS upper trim and pillar pieces are cut in the USA from polished 26 gauge 304 stainless and set over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. According to QAA, the tape will hold for a lifetime with no harm to the Cadillac sedan.
Sorting
Group the upper pieces and the pillar pieces, then order both by door. Hold each door's pieces against the Cadillac, compare them with the photos, and write the position on every liner. Pay attention to the pillar pieces' length against your pillars as you go; that's where a mismatch would show.
Preparation
Clean old adhesive, wax and any loose paint from the frame tops and pillars. Wash and dry the sedan. Right before each piece goes on, wipe its strip with a wax-and-grease remover, then isopropyl alcohol.
Fitting each door
Bond the upper piece first, then line up the pillar pieces against it. Dry-fit each with its liner attached and painter's tape marking the ends, and close the door gently to check clearance. Then peel back an inch of liner, press that end onto its mark, and keep peeling and pressing along. Check the side of the car after each door before moving on.
Other CTS trim
The 2014-2019 CTS group is a large one. It lists a four-piece body side molding accent at 1", a gas door cover, a two-piece license bar extension, a license plate bezel, a rear bumper accent and a spoiler accent. There are four rocker kits as well: an eight-piece lower kit at 2.25-3.5", a four-piece On the rocker kit at 1.5-2.125", a ten-piece combined On the rocker and lower kit at 5.25", and a two-piece On the rocker strip at 1.25".
Care
Leave the car unwashed for a day. Then mild soap and a soft cloth keep the finish bright. If a piece won't sit as the photos show, keep its liner on and call 877-752-3811.

Installation tips: Window Trim Package
- Unpack all 10 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
