Material
Made in the USA, the pieces are high-quality 26 gauge 304 stainless steel with a polished finish. 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape holds them over the existing surface. According to QAA, the tape will hold for a lifetime and won't harm the surface of the vehicle.
Completing WP27010
The Outlander's window package, WP27010, has ten pieces: upper trim and pillar posts, with NO window sills. WS27010 is the piece that completes it, giving upper trim, posts and sills. If you don't want the upper trim, the pillar sets PP27010 (four pieces) and PP27011 (six) go with this sill set instead.
Window sills vs door sills
DS27010 is a four-piece Door Sill trim with an "Outlander" logo cut out. It isn't the same part as WS27010.

Sill prep
Close all four windows and work out of direct sun. Wipe each sill with diluted shampoo on a soft cloth, getting into the edge by the glass without pulling the seal, then wipe again with clean water and dry. In good light, look along each sill for wax, polish dust and old adhesive, and clear what you find with a plastic scraper and wax-and-grease remover. Isopropyl alcohol is the final wipe, done one sill at a time.
Fitting
If WP27010 is going on as well, ask 877-752-3811 which to fit first. For the sills, start at a front door. Tape the piece on with its liner, check both ends against the photos, then peel the liner from one end and press along the piece as you go. Fit the rear behind it, then the other two doors.

Choosing your combination
Three options for the Outlander's windows: WS27010 alone for the sills; WS27010 with PP27010 or PP27011 for sills and posts; or WS27010 with WP27010 for upper trim, posts and sills together. The photos show each finished look. When the box arrives, check the label reads WS27010 rather than DS27010, count four pieces and match them to the photos. Keep them flat and covered until fitting day, and afterwards compare the SUV with the photos.
Fit in shade on a dry day, with the SUV parked level.
