Each cover is polished 304 stainless steel, 26 gauge, made in the USA. Nothing is plated, so there's no coating to peel. The set attaches with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape directly over the existing surface, so you won't drill and no trim comes off.

Prep for eight covers
Wash, rinse and dry every pillar. Wipe each one with isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth and let it flash. Wax or coating where tape will sit has to go first.

Map all eight before peeling a single liner. Then go cover by cover, pressing each firmly from end to end and along both edges. Look at each new cover from a few steps back. Conditions
Dry, mild weather in shade or a garage, so the panel is cool and the alcohol dries evenly before the tape goes down. A step stool for the tops of the pillars, and a helper for judging level. With eight covers, take the mapping step slowly.
